5.0 out of 5 stars A fun read and sensational exposé on the Twittelebrity lifestyle!, 8 Oct. 2010
This review is from: Mrs Fry's Diary (Hardcover)
A scintillating glimpse into the life of a celebrity window cleaners wife.
Comprising the candid and unedited diary entries, throughout one entire year; Edna regales us with sordid and sweet recollections, in equal measure.
Those of you looking for window cleaning tips, will be disappointed; as this concentrates primarily on the extra vocational activities of Stephen.
A truly insightful read, highlighting the differences between assumed celebrity lifestyle and that which is actually disclosed on Twitter.
Heart warming whimsy mixed with tear jerking honesty, Edna's frank delivery is quite the breath of fresh air!

As far as I am aware Edna was the first of the "Twittelebrity" wives to join Twitter. Quickly garnering a large and loyal following, keen to read of her exploits and those of her family.
In this respect Edna has set a trend, paving the way for many other wives to join Twitter, many of which are friends of hers. Indeed some of these relationships are referred to in the diary.
I doubt it will be long before Edna founds a "Twirst Wives Club"? (now THAT'S a tea party I'd love to attend!)

Included throughout are some of Edna's choice SPAM recipe's; should you feel talented, or indeed brave enough to attempt them yourself!

For further exploits of Edna you can find her on Twittter - @MrsStephenFry
Indeed there will be a book launch party at #Frys on October 15th, should you be able to attend. (search #Frys hashtag on Twitter, or Twitterfall)
Edna herself is patron of the Twitter bar #Frys, so you may find her there on many occasions.

Well worth a read, but be prepared to chortle and comment out loud, at the revelations contained.
A nice hard back edition, to keep for many years.
I will be keeping it in the smallest room of the house... The library!

I would welcome an audio book; though How Edna might enunciate clearly, with her tongue planted firmly in her cheek, is anyone's guess!
