Put a bounce in your step,
This review is from: Dr Martens Unisex 1460 Boot (Shoes)What is not to like? This is a true classic, and even if you don't care a hoot about classics, it is a seriously good boot. The air-sole puts a little bounce in your step; it gives good ankle support; it feels all-round good, and it looks pretty neat, too. Mind you, you have to walk them in a bit - they are not comfortable right from the beginning. But don't give up, walk around in small bits at the start, and in a while it will shape itself to your feet and feel like a perfect fit. Some people recommend putting them in a bucket of water and then walking around the block in them, sopping wet, to speed up the process, but I haven't tried that!
I have had mine for four years and they are great. Oxblood red, if you must know, which contrasts well with the yellow trim. I have walked in town, at work and on long walks through the wilds of Surrey with them, and they are great.

This made me so happy. I'm currently living in Lancaster, and would love to start taking walking trips around the moors and lake district. Camping too. Glad to hear they've served you well. Just got myself a pair from a local alternative shop, not as cheap as Amazon, but at least I got a comfortable size and know they fit. :D
