This review is from: Cook Simple: Effortless cooking every day (Kindle Edition)
It was a mistake to buy this as the Kindle edition. Although the recipes look great there is no way of navigating through the book other than by going through all the recipes one by one. I had thought that having a cookery book on my tablet might be very convenient but it will be a great disappointment.I may invest in the traditional book as the recipes do look good.

So sorry about this - I will alert my publishers. The content is very good (even if I say so myself). Great for meals that you don't have to think much about (there's a lot of bunging things in the oven). But I do apologise for it being difficult to use.
Best wishes
Diana

Diana, I'm impressed that you've taken the time to reply to this review. :-)

I just clicked to explain to the reviewer that I've bought several non-fiction books for the Kindle Paperwhite now (gardening and animal behaviour with body language drawings) and I've been disappointed with them and 'returned' them - the small screen does not make browsing or reading this type of book an easy and enjoyable experience. I suspect it is the same with cookery books.

I believe the way round this is simple: there's an existing Kindle app which enables a laptop / tablet / etc to view a Kindle book... but frustratingly, the books I bought were not converted to this format. Yours may be but I've not checked.

If larger format Kindle books are also available on laptop, this would make ingredient shopping easy via the Kindle in my bag but then I have the recipe on a bigger screen for kitchen or comfortable browsing.

I +will+ be buying this book - I have most of your others from Crazy Water onwards - but I'll be ordering the conventional format.
