Great fun , well paced action shooter with some strategy,
This review is from: The Bureau: XCOM Declassified (PC DVD) (DVD-ROM)
Just completed this for the first time today 14/11/2013 1520 hours ! ( yep, I'll play it again ).
This is a shooter with tactical elements, where you can order you team to take cover, set turrets, set up cross fire
opportunities and generally reign merry hell on the invading baddies.
You can also just go in all guns blazing, but they baddies are VERY good shots and they like to close on you when possible and beat you into submission.
Fun story, well acted, and looks good on both PC and as judging from the footage I've seen on Youtube, looks very nice on both
PS3 and Xbox360.
Easily worth 4/5 stars, with no noticeable "cheap" moments and just a couple of minor door blocking bugs, but a quick reload resolved those issues.
It has a cover and shoot with orders systems very similar to Mass Effect 2 & 3. If you liked them, you'll like this.
And its all set in the early 60s with a cold war environment setting .
