Good printer, some play needed for mac,
This review is from: HP P1102w 8MB 18ppm A4 Wireless LaserJet Printer (Accessory)
REVIEW FOLLOWING USE FOR 7 MONTHS WITH THE SAME COMPUTER IN THE SAME ROOM RUNNING THE SAME SOFTWARE
Now I am used to the printer my opinion has changed. There is nothing professional about this laserjet. If it runs out of paper, there is seemingly no way to simply reload and carry on printing - pointless! Furthermore there is no logic to its compatibility with the mac - I regularly have to delete the printer and 'refind' it and then it works again - useless. It is the same story for my other halves macbook air, she hates the printer as well.
Once the cartridges are used - this printer will be going on sale - but only to someone I do not like, I would not wish it upon someone I like! It should not be difficult for this to keep on working once set up - but it is, and for that it is simply not acceptable.

When it works: Good quality, speed. Good life with the cartridges, and if you shop around you can pick non-HP ones for around £15 each - 1600 pages.
To set it up with mac you can't seem to be able to use Safari, but by using firefox I (seemingly) had no issues setting it up. I have airprint from my iphone and ipad and have even set up ePrint so I can print when out and about.
Only issue I have found is when you have the sleep setting enabled, sometimes it does not seem to wake itself up. Maybe that is how I have set it up - not sure.
