Breathing for a quieter mind,

For people who like humour as well as common sense in their meditation books, this book is for them. Simon Parke concentrates on simple breathing techniques to bring one's mind into the present moment and quieten one's thoughts; ever more necessary for most of us today. Following on from the ever popular and widely read 'One Minute Mystic' this book, too, contains thought-provoking, often moving, evocations of ways in which we confront life's joys and sorrows. I try to read a thought or two every morning to 'set myself up' for the day ahead. Highly recommended.
