No eraser, buttons, or scrolling, and not the device depicted,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Wacom Bamboo Pen Graphics Tablet (Accessory)
Firstly this tablet is not the one currently pictured in the description. The actual product is depicted here: [...]
Secondly, this tablet has no buttons whatsoever - no form of input except for the pen and the left, right, and middle mouseclick that it can trigger. Therefore there is no way to zoom or scroll in your software using this tablet - you have to click on zoom or scroll buttons with your mouse or with the tablet pen. Any actions like undo, save, copy, etc. must all be done using a keyboard, or laboriously using the menus of your application. There is also no eraser on the reverse end of the pen (which most other Wacom tablets have). Again this is inconvenient and wastes your mouse clicks.
Finally, I'm pleased to say that this tablet works perfectly with GNU/Linux, and on Fedora there is a nice button customisation wizard already built in (shame there aren't any buttons on this particular tablet to configure it with).
In conclusion, I wish I'd realised how basic this tablet was before buying it, as I'd have definitely gone with one of the slighly more expensive options, such as the "pen and touch", which looks to come with eraser and buttons, and touch support for scrolling and zooming. Easily worth £20-30 more to save your shoulders the extra work, and wasted hours in clicks and switching back to your computer keyboard.
