dark and sexual,
This review is from: Scraps At Midnight (Audio CD)
Not as good as Lanegan's first two albums, but still a great album to listen to. Unlike the first two, this album doesn't really have any stand out tracks and the sound isn't very varied. But don't let that sound like a bad thing. This album starts slow and dark and stays that way, rather than have a slow quiet track, then a fast loud track, they all stay at a similar pace, except maybe the last track. But if you're looking to get into Mark Lanegan, I'd suggest maybe a later album like Bubblegum or even his second album whiskey for the holy ghost. This album sounds a little more for when you've already broke you're Mark Lanegan cherry and understand his music a little better.
