1.0 out of 5 stars No product key, 5 Mar 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Norton Internet Security 21.0 - 3 Computers, 1 Year Subscription (PC) [2014 Edition] [Frustration-Free Packaging] (DVD-ROM)
This item came in frustration free packaging. It had an advertising leaflet in it and a CD. However, there were no instructions and, crucially, no Product Key. Not a sticker, not a leaflet, nothing! So... I couldn't install it and it had to be returned.

WISH I HAD READ THIS REVIEW BECAUSE THE SAME HAPPENED TO ME

I LEFT A DETAILED REVIEW SAYING HOW I CONTACTED NORTON AND NORTON REFUSED TO HELP OR SUPPORT ME AS THEY DO NOT RECOGNOSE AMAZON AS AN AUTORISED RESELLER OF NORTON PRODUCTS AND WILL NOT SUPPORT AMAZON CUSTPMERS OF NORTON PRODUCTS - I SUBMITTED THE REVIEW AND IT HAS NOT BEEN PUBLISHED BY AMAZON - I ONLY JUST FOUND OUT BECAUSE I WENT TO EDIT THE REVIEW WITH THE FOLLOWING COMMENT ON HOW HAVING TO WAIT 15 DAYS FOR A REPLACEMENT PRODUCT HAS RESULTED IN MY COMPUTER BEING INFECTED BY THE BAMITAL MALWARE VIRUS - SOMETHING MY INTERNET PROVIDER INFORMED ME OF AFTER FINDING BAMITAL ACTIVITY FROM MY INTERNET ADDRESS 5 DAYS AFTER TRYING TO INSTALL THE PACKAGE DELIVERED BY AMAZON AND 10 DAYS BEFORE AMAZON'S PROMISED REPLACEMENT

THE EDITED REVIEW I WISHED TO ADD IS :-

The packaging was soooooo sparse that there was no Product Key included and I couldn't install the product on the 11th of November when my existing Norton Internet Security ran out - Amazon wont replace till the 26th of November and my computer was infected by the Bamital malware virus as a result - I only found out because on the 21st of November I was emailed by my Internet Provider that a Bamital infected computer was identified on my IP address on the 16th of November - 5 days after I tried to install the Norton Internet Security package brought from Amazon and 10 days before Amazon said they would replace the NON MERCHANDISABLE PORDUCT supplied by them - A bIG THANK YOU TO AMAZON AND NORTON
