5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Awesome!, 24 Oct 2010
This review is from: Les Miserables - 25th Anniversary [Blu-ray] [Region Free] (Blu-ray)
I have just returned from a local cinema here in Perth, Western Australia where I experienced this most amazing performance on the big screen!
Like many, many people, I would have loved to have actually been there however this great recording would have to be the closest you can get to that!
The clarity of the sound and visuals are superb. The performances of the cast, orchestra and chorus are truly stunning.
I have already ordered the blu-ray version of this awesome concert and am tempted to buy a second...in case I wear out the first!
Very well done to EVERYONE involved in this production.

Long live Les Mis!

Glad you enjoyed the concert. I was in the choir stuck up in the shadows and we couldn't see a thing. However Cameron Macintosh arranged a cast screening in London last week and it looks and sounds great. Enjoy it! Greetings from COLD London.

Yes, it was a great experience. I was in the choir for the 10th concert at the Albert Hall too, which was another fantastic night. I'll attempt to stay warm! Thanks for rubbing it in! Enjoy your Summer!
