A mixed bag,
This review is from: Thanks, Johnners: An Affectionate Tribute to a Broadcasting Legend (Paperback)
As other reviewers have pointed out, the title of the book is very misleading because it is not just a biography of Johnners. For example, there are anecdotes about other members of the TMS team, which are reasonable and to be expected, but also the 30 pages of chapter 2 are entirely about the author, and at the end Aggers devotes many pages his thoughts on the present and future of cricket, which is enjoyable but off-topic.
So, a good read, but quite different from what you might expect from the title, so I cannot quite give it five stars.
