This review is from: The Aquatic Ape Hypothesis: Most Credible Theory of Human Evolution (Paperback)
This is the best book to date, and I have read most of the others. I am a doctor, and her arguments totally convince me. She has researched the physiology thoroughly and it all makes sense in a way that most scientists writing about evolution do not. I am always dismayed when trained doctors, sometimes eminent in their fields, still talk about "the savannah hypothesis" and seem unable to realise this has been discredited. And even in South Africa, at the Cradle of Mankind museum in Steckfontein, they still (Feb 2013) promote the savannah idea as current, (though there is a very small postscript that there are other theories, without specifying). It makes me ashamed of the scientific community. I recently did a blog for doctors about the AAT and at the end did get a majority saying they believed in AAT rather than savannah, although got several comments from creationists!
I am very sad that Elaine Morgan will probably not live to see her theory accepted, though accepted it undoubtedly will be in the end.
