Like most Stones fans, I would love a live album from the original 60's line-up. Unfortunately, this isn't it. The stereo mix reveals that most of the tracks are studio out takes with audience overdubbed. Alternatively, live backing with Jagger's vocals re-recorded in the studio. Avoid!

The tracks are from 2 shows Oct 1, 1966 at City Hall in Newcastle and 2 more shows on Oct 7 at Colston Hall in Bristol. Two tracks; I've Been Loving You Too Long and Fortune Teller were studio tracks which had live audience screaming overlaid (a rather poorly at that!) for the album release. It isn't as good a live album as Get Your Ya Ya's, but it is their first live effort and historically important.

Perhaps it's their second live effort.
The first being the UK EP with the same title. Different recordings, from different concerts, March 1965.
