Ka ching go the ca$h Registers,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Live at Wembley 25th Anniversary [2DVD+2CD Deluxe Edition] (DVD)
I'm a huge Queen fan but am over the cashing-in that is going on since they moved their catalogue to Universal Music. Brian May and Roger Taylor's pension fund must be getting low. I've already bought this show twice. Once on vhs and recently as part of the Queen - The DVD Collection: Live At Wembley Stadium (Two Disc Set) plus I already own the cd set. Now,so you can see the previously unreleased Friday night show, which I AM interested in,you HAVE to buy the aforementioned Sat night show on dvd AND the 2cd set again. What's going on with milking your fans Brian & Roger? Where's "Greatest Video Hits 3" or the Budapest show from the same tour? Surely there's something left in the vault. I will probably buy this purely out of curiosity to see the Friday night show but will get it after someone who has actually seen it posts a review re quality of audio and picture. After all it was a tech run through for the crew. I just think it's a bit rich we are being asked to re-purchase the same stuff again. I also think that Freddie would probably be very proud that his music is still out there but I'm not so sure he would approve draining his fans pockets for the same old drag over and over again. He was not one to take a backward step or look when there was always something new to try.
Happy Birthday Freddie, you are still missed and loved by us all!
post note.To add insult to those who did purchase this again, there is now a Super-Deluxe Edition for release later in 2011.They could have at least released the two editions at the same time.Yet more money grabbing to make their hard core fans buy something they already own again and again and again.
And Queen Productions/Universal have finally released the Budapest film from the Magic Tour as Hungarian Rhapsody.

The Man says:
Why are you moaning on this?
If you are going to moan to someone, do it on the Queen website because they can pass on your message..... . ........

Maybe your made of money "The Man".....I'm not and don't have the extra cash to buy things twice or more times just to get one or two new things. It's not a moan,it's a fact.

I agree with the reviewer here, there is plenty more in the vaults that the fans want to see, so why not release it in the 40th anniversary year...shows from the 70s (Earls Court, Hyde Park etc) the South American shows, shows in Japan. Its teh same wit the CDs, the re-released this year were awful when you look at the additional tracks. What people want is the unreleased tracks, not ones that are already available on others CDs (live tracks from Milton Keynes etc). Its about time Queen started listening to what peopel want, rather than releasing stuff they already have, knowing that people will buy them again as Queen fans are some of the most loyal.
I guess Queen will claim the quality of some of the stuff is not 100%, but to be honest, i for one dont care. would just be good to get an official release of some of the stuff available on the internet by bootleg.
