This review is from: Mealtimes and Milestones: A teenager's diary of moving on from anorexia (Paperback)
I found Constance's story special in that she was so courageous and strong to overcome her demons. Her diary is a read that engages you directly into her thoughts as she thinks them. They're brutally honest at times and you could feel her pain through the pages that at times it was hard not to shed a tear.
Constance is a true inspiration and I would certainly recommend this book to others. The book will be a blessing to those parents, friends or indeed suffers themselves who are desperate for advice or information on eating disorders as it presents a topic in a way that is not often found - from the suffer themselves at the time of their suffering. Miss Barter has a book and an achievement to be proud of.
