Great book on photography, but outdated on digital cameras,
This review is from: Lonely Planet Travel Photography: A Guide to Taking Better Pictures (Paperback)
This book is absolutely fantastic on telling you about photography in general, from choosing and looking after your camera, through to detailed but easy to read information on focal lengths, exposure etc and to how to get the best shots in cold weather, at night etc. It also has a whole section on hints and tips on how to take the best photos of people, landscapes etc. The only downside is that it is very out of date on digital photography giving it a mere paragraph or so in the book and telling people to steer clear !!
Apart from that small gripe, however, I think it's invaluable!
