Quite simply brilliant,
This review is from: Harold Larwood (Paperback)
One of the best biographies of anyone (sporting or otherwise) I've read. The descriptions of how Harold Larwood was cut adrift by the cricket establishment after infamous 'Bodyline' series, his attempts to deal with rejection in stubborn isolation, and how he rebuilt his life in Australia with the support of some of those who faced him at his fastest and most fierce is extremely moving.
I'm definitly going to search out other material by this author.
I cant recommend this book highly enough. A must read!!
