1.0 out of 5 stars Not a flash drive so cannot be used as a boot device., 26 Mar 2014

This review is from: SanDisk SDCZ50-008G-B35 CZ50 8GB Cruzer Blade USB 2.0 Flash Drive (Personal Computers)
Great for storing files but not technically a flash drive. This shows as a fixed hard disc in windows 7, which is OK for general use but prevents you from using it as a boot drive (which is why I bought it). Many people have experienced this issue when trying to use this product as a boot drive but there is no fix.

A fixed hard drive can be used as a boot disk so why couldn't this? You might need to change the boot order in the bios, and you might not want to install any built in software on the stick, but there's no reason at all why this shouldn't work.
