Any quality HDMI cable from a reputable manufacturer should work fine, there is no need for any 'special' cables ... however, buyers should be aware that many of the cheaper HDMI cables available (for a pound or 2 or sometimes more), whilst maybe working OK on simple connection... will very often fail or cause problems with any system that is more complex than a simple, direct connection between source and display... eg: when a switch, splitter, extender, converter or amp etc. is inline along with a second cable. It is for this reason that unbranded, 'off the shelf ' cables are not recommended... and certainly not when a system has a switch or splitter etc. inline.

We would of course always recommend using our own high specification Neet HDMI cables with Neet switches and splitters ... There is no need to pay rip off prices that are found on the high street for some HDMI cables.... our own Neet HDMI cables are available from Amazon at genuine prices from just £5.95 and we also have a number of special offers when bought at the same time as the switch ... for example we currently have 50% OFF a number of cables sizes (see switch page details for offers).

With our own cables it is of course much easier for us to help troubleshoot any problems or provide full customer support without 3rd party cables in the mix... most issues with switches and splitters or indeed with any kind of non-basic connection end up being solved with a cable swap. Starting out with genuine, value for money branded cables is a good start, avoids most common issues and avoids the need to send out test cables etc. as part of a trouble shooting process... and of course this ultimately saves time and money in the long run.( Note that branded cables should clearly have the brand on the cable and connector... not just in the title and description on Amazon that is easily added to anything )

Hope this helps... Should anyone require any further advice or help with their system set up etc ... please feel free to contact our dedicated and specialist customer support team at Neet Cables via ' contact seller ' on Amazon.

Kind regards,
Sean C
