This review is from: Green Balls: Adventures of a Night Bomber (Vintage Aviation Library) (Paperback)
This book gives an (as far as I am aware) unique account of some aspects of the very earliest aerial warfare. The author delivers his account in the classic British, understated, monologue. No Briton appears to have ever experienced any emotion which cannot be calmly broken-down onto a series of objective paragraphs, which will, of course, include an appraisal of the weather conditions prevailing at the time.
The knowledge imparted is priceless. How did they do it?
