Another great book from [...] I work with dyslexic students during sixth form and then whilst at University. Often it is difficult for them to take on board the transferable skills that they need to develop to be successful at University. This book really helped a student begin to work on developing the new skills that they needed and developing their existing skills. The initial action plan was useful in breaking down the application process and once this was mastered it could be transferred to thinking about planning for essays at UNI.
Lots of my Uni dyslexic students really find time management difficult and frustrating. I found the books demonstration of a "workflow diary" and then an exercise to look at "how well do you manage your time?".
They are clearly laid out and two of my students were so impressed that they continued by themselves to undertake the next two exercises looking at "prioritizing" and "weekly planning"
I have only just received this book but I can see that it is going to be so useful for my dyslexic students during this transitional time and during the first few months at University.
