It just goes to show ..,
This review is from: Pete Duel: A Biography (Paperback)
yes, this book does show that a writer of biographies requires some knowledge of psychology, to a degree at least. For this book presents an incongruent account of Pete Duel as a person, as a character. The characterisation(s) given just don't add up. Perhaps, the author wasn't helped by time, or the agendas or the memories that his former lovers, friends, colleagues and his sister have. Or, simply they didn't ask enough of the right questions.
The book does have some lovely pictures and there are accounts enough to give it some meat but, unfortunately, little merit.
If you're wondering who was Peter Deuel? Rest assured, this book isn't going to tell you.
