Very thin glass,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Sagaform 0001095 Wine Carafe with Oak Stopper (Kitchen & Home)
I bought this for my husband, and it has lasted 6 months. They were 6 happy months, the wine breathes well as there is a very large surface area, and it looks very attractive. We found it very useable. However he bumped it ever so slightly when picking it up last week and a large hole appeared in the side. It was such a slight bump against the kitchen splashback that I couldn't believe it had broken. APart from having to throw the carafe away we lost a lovely bottle of wine as not worth the risk of drinking it and swallowing a chard of glass. It's only when it breaks that you get to see how very very thin the glass is. We were both surprised. So, yes it's nice, but no it isn't durable, so I think we will replace it with something better quality.

does thin mean poor quality?
