Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: CTEK Multi MXS 10 10A 12V 8-Stage Battery Charger Conditioner (Automotive)
After reading all the reviews on the net i decided to buy one. To my great disappointment the nicely packed and manufacturer checked ctek mxs10 arrived faulty. Contacted the supplier who passed me on to ctek who came back with comments of charge another battery etc. Spent another 25 pounds to return the faulty charger and i have no charger. How can Ctek send out faulty chargers? They were not checked with quality control?.And i had to pay the return postage on top.
As you all can search and find chargers of similar quality at a considerable cheaper price, you don't expect this to happen when you pay top money for ctek products.
I was promised another unit which i am expecting but honestly i would rather not have bought this so called one of best chargers.
Disappointed is a polite word to use for the ctek mxs10.

If you have a Lidl store nearby they sell a similar charger for about a fifth of the price. They only have this offer about once every 6 months but it is worth waiting for. I believe their charger offers a 3 year warranty.

Thanks Scribbler, very useful information. Many of Lidl's electrical products are top quality, and it sounds like this battery charger falls into that category.

If this was faulty out of the box you should not have to pay for it to be sent back - contact Amazon direct.
