Due to errors in the sud-titling and translation of signs, Anime Limited have announced they will be issuing replacements for this set in September. Best to wait on purchase unless you really don't care about this.

There's really no point holding off if you want the set as they may sell out as only 3000 were made. They are not going to re-call the whole collections already out there and replace them, they are going to replace the discs only for people who bought it and want the replacement discs.

Just to add into this - it's absolutely correct that any subtitle errors or sign tracks will be added in due course.
As the packaging is very expensive, we're (at our own cost) issuing only replacement discs to anyone who has purchased it and wants replacements. The packaging remains the same and a new version won't be integrated there so you're as well off buying whenever you fancy there.

I bought the set ( from Amazon ) but I live in Sweden. Does it cost anything to replace them?

I would also be interested in knowing if there's going to be a disc replacement option for international/US customers. Especially with the Gurren Lagann Ultimate Edition release right around the corner.

We'll post a form up in due course and I will add a note on the Amazon reviews thread for it here with details as soon as it does. I'm shooting for November time for the new discs so if lucky we'll have them on spindle for dispatch in the office in October.
Either way there'll be an online form to manage it :).

Hello andrew I have a question, with it being almost the end of september now will any future editions of this package have the correct subtitling included?
or will you have to first purchase the product and then request the replacement disc
