Capacity: I wanted to use this lunch box mainly for salads, but I had also hoped to be able to put a sandwich in the big triangle, salad in the middle and dressing in the little triangle. However, you can only fit half a sandwich in that shallow compartment, and it leaves little room for salad. Now I mainly use just the little pot and put salad in the main box, which holds a perfect portion size for me.
Practicality: It's quite heavy - with all compartments included, I found that this lunch box weighed about 450g - that's almost half a kilo even before you add food. Both triangular compartments have leaky lids - my salad dressing always spills down the sides. The little triangular pot has a hinged lid which drips everywhere when you open it, and it does not stay upright on its own when the lid is closed. It kind of stands up if you fold the lid back, but falls over very easily (especially when it's covered in oily salad dressing). The big triangle has no hinge, so the lid can be removed completely. The little compartment stays in place pretty well in transit, but the big one slides about a bit. The fork has a knife-like edge on one side, but the plastic is so bendy that this is useless for most foods. The prongs are wide with chisel tips and the spacing is small, so when I try to spear a bit of salad it cuts the leaf in half and it falls off. I've replaced the fork with a small pair of chopsticks.
Longevity: The glass-like lid has a little bump in each corner, presumably to keep the shiny surface raised off the table to avoid scratches - it seems to work very well. I've been using it for a while and the hinges still work (thanks to the revised lid design), the shiny bits are still shiny, the white bits are still white, and the main box is still airtight. The compartment lids now seem to have a bit of an interference fit, so I can never get the lid completely closed on all edges. I don't know how they could have warped - they have never been microwaved and I put them in the dishwasher on the eco setting.
Design: It's beautiful... And it can make leftovers look appetising. I actually get compliments on my nicely presented lunches - apparently this looks much smarter than the recycled takeaway containers I used to use...
