OK, it's not great literature, and at least two of the jokes are very, very old. But you'll learn more about the realities (and fantasies) of being a parent than from any text book, laughing and crying all the way. And if your children are out of nappies, the memories will flood back. Lucky/unlucky Michael is a loveable anti-hero of our times, and Catherine is certainly the best any man could get.
I wanted to read bits aloud to my friends - high praise from me! Well done, John. Look forward to the next one.
