This is a really great gadget for use as a CCTV or for watching something, following who is around etc. Ideal for checking on footfall in a shop, for example. However, easy to set up, for me on my iPhone, but it needs to be used for something cods effective, as there is a cloud fee, of £9.99 a month, to beware of. If this is something that is going to be useful to you then it is ideal. There is no motorisation on it so you cannot move it remotely, but the picture quality is good, including the night vision. Handy to be able to follow events on your hand held device. A really good quality product.

HI,

Thanks for your review. To clarify one point, the Premium Services feature is currently under trial and as such is free to use for all customers. This will give you the ability to automatically record videos to the cloud when your camera detects motion.

We are currently reviewing whether to continue with this feature; however I can assure you that no price has yet been determined. If Premium Services becomes a paid for feature in the future this will have no impact on the standard features. They will remain free for the lifetime of the product.

Having just purchased the BT Smart Home Cam 100, I agree it is easily fitted and the picture on my Andriod Phone is very good. However I get notice of an event, and I cannot find where to view the events. Seems that Cloud access is the place but there is a lack of propr guidance with the product, and I cannot find it on the BT page.
