Falafels are fab!,

I was told about this book by a friend on the forum and ordered it even though I am not a veggie or a vegan. I tried the falafels and they are really good. They are baked and I have tried lots of different recipes but none worth trying again..cardboard comes to mind. These on the other hand were delicious.
As the book is American I thought the ingredients would be hard to find...not so.
I would say if you like the odd vegetarian meal or feel that you should have more meatfree days then give this book a whirl..nothing boring or lettuce leaf about it!
I am going to try the sweet potato biscuits next...more like our savoury scone by the picture, and then caulipots....

Thanks for the review. I am a meat eater but would like to indulge in a healthier diet. It's good to know that the book is suitable for people who don't have cupboards full of vegan ingredients.

I would say that New Vegetarian: 50 Fresh and Flavourful Recipes this cook is worth a look too. She has a number of books out and they are all fab! Happy cooking!
