Good Value Kit,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Tunturi Deluxe Pilates and Fitness Set - Purple (Sports)
You receive the items just as pictured. The ball is in a funny rubber though, it's not the shiny plastic you normally associate with gym balls, however, it seems fine it's just not as shiny (plus point, it doesn't gather dust) I used to own a very large 75cm ball, so this looked like a beach ball by comparison. However i'm only 5.2' so this is the right size for me. Once you blow it up using the pump, you need to insert one of the 3 plugs into the opening (they look like golf tee's) so it sticks out a little, presumably so you can remove it if you want to inflate it again.
The mat is a standard mat, good non slip and a nice lilac colour, the reverse side doesn't have 'Tunturi' on it so you can just turn it over if you prefer.
The Stretch band is good, it also has 'Tunturi' wrote on it, it's not particularly long but long enough. I believe that the resistance is at the lower end at 0.35.
I don't have a clue what the strap is for, it looks like a woven belt without the buckle, it's used for stretching maybe?
The exercise chart isn't really much it's just a few moves you can do on the ball shown in pictures. There are no hints as to what to do with the other items.
Overall a good starter kit.

Is the strap a carry strap for the yoga mat?

No idea, maybe you're right. I does seem rather on the long side for that though.

You'd think they'd include instructions.

I've found out what the strap is for now. It's used to aid stretching. I think i remember seeing them in the Core Fusion DVD's.
