Nice watch, terrible customer service from Tissot,,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Tissot Gents Watch T-Touch Expert T0134204420200 (Watch)
I bought this watch in August 2010. It is nice and comfortable and the touch screen works very well. Unfortunately just after it was out of warranty the battery went. I put it in through my local Tissot dealer for a service which they quoted as £75. Once Tissot got it they said it needed a complete service which costs £185. Anyone thinking of getting one, please consider carefully how much you're willing to pay to have a nice watch. Shelling out £500-600 on a watch means you expect quality and good customer service, not having to spend another £200 on it just a couple of years later.

Your statutory rights are agianst the RETAILER, not the manufacturer. Don't be fobbed off with '12 months' or whatever, the law says goods should last a reasonable time, and reasonable for a £500 watch is more than 12 months. That is not to say that they must give you a full replacement, but anything up to 6 years the retailer has to consider your case on its merits. Wise up about your consumer rights, you are being taken for a patsy, and Tissot can do that since you have no rights against them (they didn't sell you the watch, after all).

Crap ( them I mean).. if its just changing the battery it costs less than £3.00 .. I had a t-touch from 2006, and changed battery myself in 2012. To me there is nothing in a quartz watch to service, something goes wrong you change the whole movement. So.. I guess something must be wrong with the watch then..
