This is what makes Amazon such a great place to gain an understanding of the product before you spend £600 of your hard earned cash on something that does not completely meet your requirements. The fact it does not support DTS is clearly mentioned in a number of posts.
As I have commented elsewhere there is a imminent software update for the whole Sonos system coming up early November and everyone who currently owns one of these is holding their breath in the hope that DTS support is added. My understanding is that this is a software issue rather than a hardware limitation.
The Playbar does a whole raft of things. It allows streaming of on-line music services, connects to your PC or NAS to play your own music library and works as a soundbar for your TV. It works as a network switch allowing internet connection to things like your Sky box or Blu ray player. It does all of these really well. It is simple to set up and can be expanded to provide a full 5.1 system. With the addition of the new Play 1's that are due any day now the cost of the full system is going to come down. Giving it one star simply for not supporting DTS seems a little harsh.
