3.0 out of 5 stars A good case for £20, 25 April 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Invision® New iPad 4 (with Retina Display) & iPad 3 Case Cover in Black- Front & Back Protection Smart Cover With Magnetic Auto Wake & Sleep Function - Full Grade Leather (PU) with Smooth Satin Inner Cloth - Premium Quality with Superior Design Features - Independently Recommended by "Which?" Magazine. (Black iPad 3 & 4 Case) (Electronics)
I spent ages looking for a case since the ipad 3 launched and the invision ticked all the boxes.

Whats Good: Its reasonably thin so doesnt ruin the ipads form, the PU leather feels decent but certainly not luxurious (dont care for £20) and the soft clothing lining is nice too. All round protection without bulk is what this case is about.

Whats Bad: The flap is not overly flimsy but something that needs addressed is a stronger magnet in the flap as it isnt strong enough to keep the flap closed. A wider magnet would also prevent the continuous wake/sleep from the slightest movement on the flap when closed - this is this biggest bad point. Some extra weight on the flap would make the flap sit flush all the time instead of taking time to settle if it has been folded back for some time.

Its decent case overall and for £20 including shipping its a no brainer compared to what other manufacturers are churning out.

Given the price is now £30 would think twice about this case unless the above issues are addressed.

hi, please can you contact us direct via amazon i fear you may have a faulty case as the problem you have described is not a design feature of the case, the magnets are strong enough to keep the front cover closed at all times and when the case is in normal operation , please mention this review and your name when you contact us and we will make sure the problem is resolved and a new case is sent out

many thanks
