5.0 out of 5 stars Another cracking phone from Samsung, 1 Jun. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Samsung S6500 Galaxy Mini 2 Sim Free Mobile Phone - Yellow (Electronics)
Bought this for my wife for our anniversary as an upgrade from her previous phone. She has not stopped using it since she got it. Has a quality, weighty feel to the hand and holds its charge well. intuitive interface means a newcomer to smartphones will find this a doddle to use. This does not mean it is a simple device as it can do a lot of things. It means that menus and journeys through the phone are thought out well and easy to pick up. I much prefer the android system to the apple phone. Every Tom Dick and Harry has an I-phone and to be frank they are a tad dull and obvious. Be different, go your own way, don`t follow like a sheep, be android smart. Who cares if there are less apps for the android. Who has actually downloaded all 500,000 apps for their I-phone? if they haven`t then what difference does it make if apple has all these apps. There are more than enough on the android system to meet all your needs.

I've come from an HTC Desire (which I liked a lot) to an iPhone 4S. Call me "sheep like" if you wish, but I'm prepared to pay the premium for a top flight device, that it truly is. I'm generally not an Apple fan, but this beast has turned my opinion. I'll be dumping my PC for a Mac Pro next (well, perhaps not turned my opinion that much!)

Samsung certainly makes some decent phones, comparable to the iPhone, but this isn't one of them, not even close. And it has nothing to do with apps...
