This review is from: Artificial Evil (Book 1 of The Techxorcist) (Kindle Edition)
Anachron Press in general, and Colin in particular, are determined to bring fresh, daring genre fiction to the market, and the first instalment of the Techxorcist series brings that and more.
Gerry Cardle's day goes from bad to worse and he quickly finds himself questioning not only his, but his entire city and culture's existence - beliefs and realities are stripped away and he finds himself tagging along with rogue hackers, technical geniuses making a hard and desperate living on the edges of the Grid.
Always on the run, always under attack from the higher forces of control: Gerry and his allies must seek out the source of what is going on, and work out the dark and powerful motives behind the dystopian nightmare that our hero's 'awakening' to himself has revealed.
Full of action, clever use of technology, some first class Cyberpunk stylings, and hints of more to come - Artificial Evil is a prime example of a 'must read' title.
