Sweet story, bit disappointing,
This review is from: Love & Freedom (Choc Lit) (Kindle Edition)
I was full of hope for this book but although I quite enjoyed it and read to the end, I was left with the feeling that it lacked depth, and I'm afraid that for me the twist didn't work because I'd guessed that very early on. The writer has taken trouble over making the Brighton setting authentic, and it works. Honor is a feisty, likeable character but she's the best of the bunch as the others, Martyn included, seemed limp and sketchy. Also I felt the writer had missed a trick with the stalking plot-line which conjured up no emotion at all as the victim doesn't seem to be at all perturbed.
On the whole, though, if you want a fun, sexy read and aren't expecting too much in the way of character analysis and motivation, then this book delivers that.
