This review is from: My Sister's Keeper (Kindle Edition)
With a contrived plot, signposted twists, repetitive devices - how many times can one man ruin his clothes and have to throw them away before you need to write in a trip to the shops for new trousers? - and scenes so insultingly unbelievable you'll snort with derision, this book was overpriced even at 38p. If reading about a man brought back from the dead with a defibrillator and released from hospital later the same day appeals, this book's for you. If you are looking for a crime thriller with plot development, characters, and some research effort on the part of the author then I'd give this a miss.

I agree with this review....I am 60% into the book and I really can't see the point in finishing. However in fairness the first 30% was good...but then every scene is a car crash or explosion or just ridiculous . At one stage all the main characters are in hospital for various injuries. Life is just too short to read books like this......

I also nearly gave up on this book half way through then treated it like a farce and laughed at the ludicrous plot lines and the ability of the manin character to escape from every situation and recover from every injury immediately another opportunity to race around the country came up. A waste of my time and money.

I agree completely. I felt I had to finish it as I don't like stopping books part way through but the plot was so contrived, with so many awful coincidences and unbelievable circumstances. The love scenes were so badly written and the language used made me cringe. The main characters were all unbelievable, and the final twist in the "family dark secret" was just so cringe makingly dreadful I was shaking my head as I finished it.
Sorry to give a bad review as I'm sure the author tried his best, but avoid this book unless it is free and you have absolutely nothing else to read!
