Once you start reading Jabin things like housework and cooking fly out of the window until you finish it. It's one of those books that have characters that are "real people" with just the same reactions and emotions that I would have in those circumstances. Even as a middle-aged woman I can feel and understand what Jabin is feeling on every page. And THAT is down to the wonderful writing. I am looking forward to another couple of days away from housework when the next book by this author is published...
