This review is from: The Girl in the Painted Caravan (Kindle Edition)
I have just finished 'The Girl in the Painted Caravan' and enjoyed every page. Eva Petulengro tells an interesting and insightful story of Romany life during the 20th century. She describes the warm and loving family life and many of the traditions and sometimes hard times of the Romany world. Luck or psychic instinct led her on her own road to a successful career as a palmist and clairvoyant in a gorger or non~Romany world. An enjoyable, can't put down book that I highly recommend.
