I screamed of joy...it was over,
This review is from: Scream of the Banshee [DVD] (DVD)
Setting and idea were just fine. Somewhere in the 12th century, a couple of knights give chase to a female figure which happen to be a Banshee. They are able to capture/terminate her by cutting her head off and stuffing it in a metal box which is then forgotten for the next 9 centuries.
Up to there everything seems fine; it's when we stumble upon the main characters during the present time that photography, acting and dialogue take a dive.
I couldn't shake the feeling that they wanted to create a gripping movie but somehow they are unable to bring it over to the audience.
Indeed all that happens is a lot of screaming, the Banshee is unable to do more unless the victim him/herself screams....
Shame, missed chance...
