Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Titania's Fortune Cards (Hardcover)
While I am a great fan of Titania Hardie I sent these cards back the day after purchasing them. I bought them on the strength of the other review of these cards which states that "unlike the tarot there are no nasty surprises". I took this to mean that so called 'death' cards were not included and and that the cards were a more fun and contemporary type of tarot - I was wrong. Like most tarots Titanias Fortune Cards contains cards capable of predicting death and serious illness, both predicitons which I think could be quite distressing for some people (including myself) and which are not to be taken lightly. Only buy these if you are comfortable with the concept of the tarot with both its positive and negative predictions. If you're looking for 'tarot lite' you won't find it here.
