I found this to be a great, enjoyable read. Very good even if your not a cyclist. The book is about the journey of a professional athlete from idealised teen to mature, cynical "employee" going about the day job and as such does not need to be read by a bike enthusiast to be appreciated. This book gives great insight into the real thoughts and motivations of many professional cyclists, the men who get mucked about, payed little and will never win a race, but continue to do a hard days work. It is also interesting to get a view on the politics of this great sport. I recommend this book.
