Made me love my Nexus more,

Despite the adverts, you don't really carry your mini-Tablet or e-Reader in your back pocket, because you're frightened it will fall out or smash into a thousand sparkly spangles. Instead, you wrap it in a bulky sheath to protect it from harm, but it's now roughly the size of a hot water bottle and it doesn't leave the house.
Not any more. Not with this thing. Off went my old book-style cover and the Nexus slides snugly into this new sheath. It is very snug, very slim, not bulky at all, so I really could (if I were brave enough) wedge it into my back pocket. It goes in the inside pocket of my jacket instead, but it's no longer a tight fit.
The cover itself is a nice matte effect, smooth but not slippery, so there's much less chance of it leaping from my butterfingers or sliding off my knee. An elasticated ribbon straps the thing closed without bulking it up any. I'm delighted.
The arrangement has a set of curious folds in it enabling it to be set up as a sort of stand, letting you view the tablet head-on, like a conventional PC screen. There's not a whole lot of use for this, frankly, but once in a while I find myself viewing some instructional video this way while trying to learn to poach an egg, so it's not a redundant feature.
Pleasantly, the case also folds out to be held like a conventional book, if that's your thing. There's a pouch-like arrangement on the outside where you could (just barely) slide a store loyalty card or car parking ticket if you had absolutely nowhere else to put it, but that doesn't add discernibly to the bulk so it doesn't offend me.
I confess myself delighted with this. It's made me love my Nexus more, were that even possible.
