This review is from: Mennonite in a Little Black Dress: A Memoir of Going Home (Kindle Edition)
I started off quite enjoying this book, which initially seemed to be quirky but entertaining. However, for me the humour palled about a quarter way through and by the time I reached half-way I was thoroughly bored. The humour had become forced, the anecdotes trivial and sometimes ridiculous. For me, it was a rare "terrible purchase" and I did not finish it. For these reasons I cannot recommend it.
