A pretty good way to spend an hour and a half,
This review is from: Demons Never Die [DVD] (DVD)
As a massive fan of Robert Sheehan, I feel I'm a bit biased as to liking this film seeing as I tend to watch any film with anyone I like in it, despite reviews I've read about it. The film started pretty promisingly with the whole 'guess the killer' style and teenagers dying, and although I did enjoy the majority of the film, I couldn't call it scary for one second. It seems almost predictable whenever someone walked into a room without turning off a light (I still can't understand why people in films are so much more confident about walking around in the dark) that they were going to die, so I find myself slightly disappointed with the fact that they didn't try and make it more believable. Also, the ending, although there was a pretty good twist, was inconclusive - what was the motive behind the killings (therefore the whole reason for the film other than for the sake of making a film)? But anyway, on the whole I found this a casually enjoyable film, which isn't my favourite film of all time, but a nice way to spend an hour and a half.
