This review is from: Kurio 7 Android Tablet for Kids (Toy)
I bought this from another site for one of my children and they absolutely love it! It looks amazing but is very durable so is perfect for kids. It comes with content pre-loaded which is brilliant as you don't have to mess around with it when you get it (I'm not good at that sort of thing!) - your child can enjoy it straight away. Easy to use, I love using it myself but I am pleased with the parental control I can put on it. The best way of keeping my child quiet on long journeys. I now fully intend to buy one for each of my other children for christmas - it's such good value for money) but will be getting it from Amazon when it becomes available as the other site I used was slow to dispatch and more expensive - I know and trust Amazon.

I don't think so but Kurio has its own App store which is absolutely brilliant and means that kids can't download anything unsuitable

Just out of curiosity are there many free apps on the Kurio store?

Yes, and the Kurio comes with loads already pre-loaded on it so your child can use it straight away - these include all the popular ones like Angry Birds

Can you please also advise if the Kurio can download the UK Amazon kindle app?

The thing which is making my son want one of these is that on TV it shows the Kurio accessing Binweevils (his favourite website). I know iPads and iPods can't do this (something to do with Flash, I think), so I'd be suprised if this thing can. Can it? Could it (say) go on a gaming site like Flonga.com and play computer games on there? I'm thinking not, but if it can, I expect we'll be buying one soon :) Any advice you can offer would be great, thanks.

are you in the uk as i was looking at Anna's review who didn't seem to think it worked very well here. i'm wondering if she bought a dodgy one as it seems odd it would be sold here but not work. thanks so much.

Everything I have tried works brilliantly and I keep discovering new things! It does have a flash drive so should work.

hi again Alice.
i have been looking further into these and have found something i would like to check with you, if that's ok. i have read a report which says; some kids websites which use Flash wouldn't load and; most sites don't display properly. i want to buy this so my daughter can go on her favourite web sites but am now a little worried i may pay for one and not all the web is available. would you please be able to see if you can access www.disney.co.uk and are able to play the games? or even if it just loads? maybe i should give up reading reviews, seems bizarre you can't simply get on the web! if you have the time, that would be great! i'l send you some virtual flowers for your time! or maybe chocolate?!
thanks so much!
