Not for Tintin fans,
This review is from: Tintin and the Secret of Literature (Paperback)
Extremely pretentious. Not having come across the author before, I assumed I was reading the work of an opportunistic undergraduate; someone with more entrepreneurial spirit than creative ideas who had managed to flog his thesis to the first publisher prepared to piggy-back off the Tintin brand.
Too dreary and pretentious for Tintin fans; too 2:2 degree level to be of use to academics.

Didn't McCarthy get a double-frst at Cambridge? No easy feat - you can't fluke your way to one of those!
