This review is from: Bad Blood: The second Intercrime thriller (The Intercrime series Book 2) (Kindle Edition)
After eighteen months of near inactivity and under threat of disbanding some members of A Unit are almost praying a murder. Their prayers are answered in the form of a Swedish literary critic, brutally tortured and killed at JFK airport. The murderer is a serial killer and almost certainly on his way to Sweden. The team is galvanised into action and try to intercept him at Arlanda airport but without success. Then days of waiting until not one, not two but three bodies turn up almost simultaneously - the chase is on. Paul and Kersten fly to New York to find out more about the killer - K - and whilst there Paul, in a semi-drugged state sees the obvious and knows the identity of K. This scene is my only quibble about Bad Blood. However one reads the initials FBI, even they could have looked at photographs and made the connection. Set in 1998 this wonderful book is a thriller with pace, philosophical musings about this, that and the other, as well as strong characterisation and moments of comedy. Highly recommended.
