5.0 out of 5 stars The paperwhite, 20 Nov. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Kindle Paperwhite, 6" High Resolution Display with Next-Gen Built-in Light, Wi-Fi (Electronics)
I trod on my old kindle ,so had to replace quickly, I love the new one, it's smaller , the built in light is so much better than the old one in the cover, it's touch control so no more clicking the sides. It's easy to operate, all my books were transfered immediately. Only one downside and it's the same as my kindle app on my I pad, the books which have been read used to go to an archive folder, which could be accessed any time , that doesn't happen now and I get confused as to which books I have read, as the whole library comes up. But overall I am really pleased with it.

Rosie Pink says:
In the top left of the screen underneath the house symbol it says Cloud/Device. The Cloud shows every book you have whilst the Device shows those you have downloaded to your kindle. If you delete them from your kindle once read you only have to look on Device - personally I have created a collection that I call "Read" to which I move books as soon as I have finished them, deleting those I am not likely to want to read again. When I got my 1st gen paperwhite it allowed me to import my collections list from the kindle I was upgrading. Hope this is helpful for you.
