Such a Disappointment,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Sonic Lost World: Deadly Six Edition (Nintendo Wii U) (Video Game)
The game is so close to being good, but falls just too short.
The boss battles are awful, the level design is uninspired most of the time, and the forced extra features like collecting animals in carnival side stages to unlock new levels makes the game a slog.
Perhaps the biggest mark against the game is how it handles, in both 2D and 3D. The parkour system is slow, unpredictable and sometimes even gets in the way of progressing(especially in 2D sections), this in addition to Sonic's unusual speed arc and heavy feeling jumping makes navigating the levels a chore.
Interestingly, the 3DS version in my opinion plays a lot better, and I quite enjoyed it.
So I would recommend looking into that. It is the definitive version to me.

I agree. Sonic feels so incredibly heavy when he jumps, especially in the 2D sections. The levels are uninspired and, worst of all, some of them take a ridiculously long time to complete.
